To all of my wonderful clients...

Dearest clients,

It is with mixed feelings that I must announce the beginning of a new chapter in my life ... Which means the ending of the current one. My wife received an out-of-state employment offer that she simply could not refuse and therefore my family and I are relocating to Pennsylvania. Classy Body Art of Albany, NY will close on December 30, 2015.

It has been a sincere pleasure serving the Capital Region. I am so thankful for the wonderful support you have given Classy Body Art over the past 2.5 years. I have met incredible people who inspire me to be my best everyday.

But! This isn't the end! I will still be active in the piercing community and social media. Plus, I plan to guest spot at a few of the awesome APP shops in NY and around the country.

As a thanks to my wonderful clients, I am offering $10 piercing fee (regularly $35) from now through December 30, 2015 as a thank you for all the memories and smiles you have given me.

These stunning weights come from our good friend Cyrus and his company Blessings to You. This style of jewelry is meant to hang in a stretched ear lobe. These pieces weigh 54 grams each and provide a nice feeling without feeling too heavy.These are cast and high polished bronze. Although they are available in a plethora of colors like black.

According to Cyrus "The bat is considered an auspicious symbol and a magical tool for wealth. Fukurokuju (one of the 7 lucky gods) is said to have been accompanied by a bat in his travels. In feng shui two bats equal double the luck so be sure to wear them on occasion!"

Jewelry of the Week - White Gold Halo with Clear CZ's and White Opals

Here we have a wonderful piece we ordered for a co worker at our shop.

This threadless end from body gems is called the Halo. It is solid white gold with 12 cz's and a white opal center.

We placed this piece in her philtrum but it would also look great in a variety of other locations such as ears or nostrils.

Piercing of the Week - Paired Nostrils & New Septum Jewelry

We love a complementing set of jewelry.

These healing high nostrils, done with 2mm white opals , just became a complete set with a new septum piece from our friends at Anatometal.

This four stone white opal cluster gives a powerful look with two 2mm, and a 3 & 4mm bezel setting. This gives the appearance of a larger piece of jewelry but remains at the initial size.

The jewelry can also be changed easily to any captive bead, and can even be reversed for a solid, flat look.
